Special Education serves an exceptional group of learners. Even though they need more focused teaching they deserve to have the same access. My students will benefit from the access of technology in all learning environments. I am a resource/inclusion teacher and move classrooms daily and the computers do not come with me. If I had these Chromebooks, they would! I am also responsible for servicing grades KG-5 where I service up to 40 students. These portable devices would allow me to provide access to the internet in any environment! I find students' interest always peaks when technology or hands-on activities are implemented. This would give the students more ownership of research and activities! These Chromebooks will also help with differentiating and meeting the needs of my students.
