"Find something you're passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it." - Julia Child
I want to introduce new and exciting options for my students when they begin thinking about their career paths. Eating with your family impacts all aspects of development. Not only do children learn their eating habits by watching their parents, they also develop emotionally, and socially. By providing these starter kits to my students they will be able to create, and learn, as well as experience a sense of family all while having fun. In the kitchen students utilize soft skills needed in the workplace such as teamwork, communication, and dependability.
These new kits provide all essential small kitchen equipment needed to deepen their learning. They will learn safety and sanitation skills, as well as how to develop and provide healthy and delicious food to their friends and family all while identifying these utensils and their uses. The color coded kits will help to optimize the time spent in the kitchen by providing an example of ultimate organization within our classroom.
Our kitchens are not at the level needed for enhanced learning, and hinder us from the ability to develop skills within our students to achieve at the levels needed in our society today. Please consider providing these kitchen kits for our students. They deserve it!
