My classroom is diverse, I teach in an inclusion setting, welcoming special education students, english language learners, and all students! In my classroom everyone has the potential to learn and it shows in all of my students artwork.
My school is culturally diverse and there is about 47% English Language Learners. Although we come from many different countries, we take pride in our cultures and we learn how to take care of everyone!
In my Fine Arts class my students create original works of art by participating in hands-on learning like exploring clay, painting, and moving their body; as well as their minds to perform amazing art! Also we learn about famous artists for inspiration like Leonardo da Vinci and read books about art that motivate us to become great artists! Most importantly, my students learn to make personal connections to what they’re learning so that they could become lifelong learners!
