My students (understandably) hate the harsh, overhead, fluorescent lighting in my classroom. We try to use natural light when we can but often it's either not bright enough due to cloudy conditions or it's direct, overpowering sunlight. Most of the time we sit in a dark room staring at bright screens and everyone gets headaches and strains their eyes.
What I'm envisioning is a softly lit paradise bathed in different colors that reminds the students of a high quality gaming setup, enticing them to want to study Computer Science and easing the pain on our eyes and brains but I need your help to do it!
Please consider donating so that I can come and string up LED lights all around my classroom and make this change a reality.
