I recently found the reading curriculum "Rooted in Reading" on Teacher's Pay Teachers by Amy Lemmons. This program has changed the reading instruction for my kids. Each week the students read a new book, which are the books I am asking for, and study a different skill that is embedded in that book. I have bought one or two books for this program and my kids are thriving on this program, but I can't do this on my own! I would love for them to be able to have the books they need for the rest of the year. I have never seen my students so engaged in reading instruction. My kids do especially well when I have the book projected on the board for our lessons, and they get to have the same book in their hands. Any help is appreciated.
