"Sensory tools are intended to promote regulation, improve focus, increase participation, and therefore enable your child to be available for learning!" (Harka, 2018)
My students love to learn and sensory items will help them do that! With a wobble chair, students will be able to get their wiggles and wobbles out as they complete their work. Students are expected to sit in a chair for extended periods of time. These chairs will help them get their sensory needs.
With differentiated seating offered in my classroom students can focus on their work. These items such as Active Kids Chairs, Balance Balls, dimming of lights, and Fluorescent light covers supports the various sensory needs of the students in my classroom.
