I work in a title-one school for Kindergarten to fifth grade students in Duncan, Oklahoma. Our school services about three hundred students. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch during the school day. Roughly seventeen percent of our students qualify as having some sort of learning disability. These are the students that I work with on a daily basis. All of my students have some sort of disability that affects their success in reading, writing, and/or mathematics. These disabilities include autism, emotional disturbance, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and many other health impairments. My students see me daily for small group intervention in their areas of need.
