The use of books is a daily activity in my classroom because my kiddos LOVE to read! We will be utilizing a new math curriculum for the upcoming year and there are MANY books that are recommended to use with each lesson that I do not currently have in my classroom library. These books focus on ALL of the kindergarten standards that I teach throughout the year and will also tie in English Language arts standards. I have about 5 of the recommended books for our new math curriculum, but there are about 100 books in the series! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention by bringing new literature into our classroom, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. These books focus on all sorts of fun aspects of math, and will really help our students grow!
