My students will use the Chromebook computers as a center to work on reading and math skills. They will be able to access various programs and differentiated assignments at their level. They are unable to use the current reading and math programs because they are so far behind. My students face enough challenges in their homes and neighborhoods but my classroom should be a place where we can break down those barriers to overcome adversity and learn. The computers will give them an opportunity to learn and also have fun while doing it! Our district offers several online programs that we unable to use because of the lack of technology in the classroom. Students will be able to not only use those programs but complete research projects, read books, and watch educational videos and so much more.
