Our kindergarten through 2nd-grade students learn about book care at the beginning of the year. To support their efforts to take good care of the books they check out, these book totes will keep their books safe, even in their backpacks, which often contain snacks and drinks. Books often come back with rips, bent covers, stains, and crushed corners. These significantly shorten the life of the library book.
School library books will live longer and give more students the opportunity to read them. Using these book pouches will prevent damage and loss as well as the associated cost of replacement.
