I teach kindergarteners ages 5 to 7 years old. We call ourselves a school family and work together as one; we all have roles and responsibilities and learn to treat one another with respect and love just as we do our own family. We learn through hands on minds on fun every day. We do lots of small groups and partner activities allowing us to talk tons, learn from each other, and help each other grow in so many ways. In my classroom the students enjoy the idea of choice. They can chose what center they want to play at, what activity they want to do during literacy and math center times, and even how they want to express their learnings to me. In kindergarten the children grow so much. They make growth academically, socially, and emotionally and I am so honored to be a part of this growth and help build their love for learning and build a solid foundation at such an early age. In my opinion Kindergarten ROCKS!!!
