My 2nd grade classroom is a happy place. I teach some pretty amazing kids in a Title 1 school. My classroom is self contained and I teach, RLA, Math, Science and Social Studies. My hope is that I also help children learn to be a helper in this world and good friend. I believe that the most important thing a student learns in a year may not be academic, but to love themselves and serve others. I want students to love learning and look forward to school. I believe that all students have the same potential for learning and that all students are gifted. I believe that if you set high expectations for kids, they will set high expectations for themselves and reach them! I try and teach to the many different learning styles of my students and differentiate, in order to meet students where they are and help them grow.
