I am the librarian at a primary school in eastern North Carolina, serving approximately 500 pre-K through third grade students. As a Title I school, many of our students are working toward meeting grade-level expectations and come from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, including English Learners and students with ADHD or Autism. Because I see every student in the building, I strive to meet their diverse needs and create meaningful learning experiences for all. My goal is to foster a love for the library and reading early on, helping students build the curiosity and confidence that will carry them through their school years and beyond.
