My students are the lowest 25-35% of the school population. They are the cutest little 7th grade children of varying ethnic backgrounds. They participate and stay eager the entire 45 minute period. In my class alone, there are over 10 different languages spoken by my students.
My school is considered an urban school. The majority of my students receive free lunch, which means they don't have the extra funds to spend on luxuries, like calculators and non-budget items. I lack many resources to service my students; however, I seem to manage to help most pass the End -of- Course exam which is the goal.
