Students learn from their peers when they are able to share their thoughts with each other. When my students know their peers are reading the same book as them and they have the opportunity to discuss it with each other I can just imagine the collaborative conversations now. These books are going to give my students the opportunities to read, share, and explore together. Together as a class, they will get to experience stories that may pull at their heartstrings, teach a lesson, or have them share a laugh. This is the kind of learning and memories I want my students to leave my classroom with.
