Take a peek in the future of classrooms. No longer are students sitting in rows of desks quietly working in their seat. Instead you will see students huddled in a corner sitting on seat cushions collaborating on a project. Other students will be sitting in comfy floor seats reading their favorite book. And more will be laying on the rug using clipboards to work on their assignment. Having the freedom to choose where and how they sit makes a huge difference in student motivation, behavior, and performance.
Sitting in one spot for long periods of time can make one fidgety and off task. Having a variety of flexible options for my students to sit, lay, and work comfortably will affect my students in so many positive ways. Times have definitely changed and classrooms need to change with it. Having these resources will impact my students this year and many more years to come!
