Manipulatives will give my students a new way of learning. With these new toys in the classroom my students will have a variety of ways to learn. They will be able to use the light table to learn their letters and numbers. They will be able to identify numbers by using math and counting. They will be able to build things with friends using the Magna-Tiles and Playstix and solve different problems. Hands-on learning is the best way of learning. Studies have shown that students being engaged in simple hands-on activity while listening to a message are more likely to retain details of what they have heard. These manipulatives will allow my students to be in charge of their own learning. My students will be very excited to learn in a variety of different ways.
