I have the privilege of interacting with 90 teenagers who are bursting with personality! I have three classes with about 30 students in each one. Their smiles, hugs, and laughs inspire me to give my best to them each and every day. I teach mainly 9th, 10th, and 11th graders who are several grade-levels behind in math. They currently lack the basic math skills needed to be successful in Algebra and Geometry. Because of this, I strive to push my students to grow several years in math in just one semester. Last year, my students grew over 2.5 years in Algebra skills! In order to be competitive for college, they must catch up to their grade level.
