My students are 5th graders who attend a public school with a population of approximately 600. It is situated in a suburban neighborhood in which includes students from various ethnic and economic backgrounds. My students range in academic ability from remedial/exceptional to high average. Regardless of their academic label, I teach each one of them with high expectations. They are very visual learners who learn best with hands on activities and lessons that allow much movement and peer interaction.I believe wholeheartedly that if a child is not having fun in class then he is really not learning.
