My students live in a low income, high violence community. Though we are directly around the corner from a university, my students lack the technology skills needed to compete in the academic and business worlds. The population receives free and reduced price lunches. My school lacks supplies and textbooks. We are a Title I school in need of technology as well as textbooks and workbooks. The teachers are used to not having what they need to teach and often purchase things on their own for the classroom and students.
