My 4th grade class will be working on various STEM activities this year. Part of STEM includes the technology aspect. While the students have access to computers to do research, I want them to go deeper and use technology to assist not only with research, but presentations, movie making, photography, and a lot more. My students last year conducted a variety of STEM activity but we always lacked in the area of technology. This year, I would like to fix that. I would like to have my students use the camera feature of the iPad to take a slow-motion video to see certain things they wouldn't see without it. In addition, I want to incorporate movie making presentations to share their experience at a STEM showcase. With the iPad, my students would be able to dive into these exciting learning experiences with ease.
