My students are hands-on, kinesthetic learners. They are hard workers and eager to learn about a tremendous variety of subjects. It is important to me that my students learn to be independent thinkers and problem solvers so that they can be successful in any situation. I am privileged to teach second grade in a rural public school serving 500 students. Because our school is in a community with a growing socioeconomic divide between the poor and wealthy, I strive daily to provide an equitable experience to all students.
