I work at an arts academy in Bremerton, WA. This year we are starting our year teaching remotely. Our students love the arts! While we offer drama and dance opportunities at our school, we also love to focus on elements and principles of art. I would love to send my 2nd grade students a set of paints and brushes so we can continue creating wonderful works of art from home. We will start the year reviewing the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, cool colors and warm colors and that’s just in the first six weeks. We will have many more projects to complete and the paints and brushes will definitely be a surprise and a wonderful gift as my second graders start the new school year.
