Fourth grade is an amazing year. Students are becoming more independent learners and citizens. They create goals that are attainable and we celebrate when those goals are reached. Many students are excited about turning ten (a whole decade).
My students come from a variety of backgrounds with many different life experiences. We are a community that learns from each other and values one another's unique perspectives. We celebrate that we are all different, with a variety of learning styles; it would be boring if we were all the same.
