Hello! I currently teach 3rd grade in a poverty-ridden area in southern Missouri. My school is quite large (k-4) with about six to seven classes per grade level. This is my 5th year of teaching. I've taught 4th grade one year, and 3rd grade for four.
I love my students, but I can see a lack of knowledge with current technology. I know they need more hands-on experiences with technological devices to be more successful in the world. I can also tell these students require a different approach to learning-- something like flexible seating will match their needs better than traditional desks.
