I believe that musical theater has a strong impact on our elementary students who have little exposure to the world of theater production and music outside of school. Their language skills, self esteem, and self confidence is growing with every practice.
In addition, we would love to incorporate some props such as electrical tea lights to recreate an enigmatic scene of He Lives in You and a fog machine to help us create dramatic Lion King moments. We would like to include umbrellas and butterfly wings to portray an imaginary world of I Can't Wait to be King and Hakuna Matata.
It would be a dream come true to each and every one of our students if we are able to put on a show with matching costumes.
