I am excited for my eighth year of teaching at a school with such wonderful, diverse kids and staff. My school is a Title One school with most students qualifying for free or reduced lunch and learning English as a second language. This year my group of happy, curious, and chatty students are excited to start learning everything in third grade, reading longer chapter books, memorizing their multiplication facts, writing in cursive, and using technology to publish their stories. And I can't wait to teach them to think critically and use problem-solving strategies, analyze characters in stories, do research and present information, communicate their ideas and thinking to others, and of course, become lifelong learners! We need your support to help make third grade the best year so far!
