I am a speech pathologist at a Title I school serving children grades kindergarten through fifth. Many of my student s come from military families, receive free and reduced lunch and have varying disabilities such as Autism, Fragile X Syndrome, Hearing Impairment, Down Syndrome, language delays, articulation delays, oral motor weakness and stuttering deficits. My students are some of the most creative and energetic children that I have ever worked in my career. I strive to impress upon my students the significance of doing their best work when they come to therapy and that what they have to say is very important. I am optimistic that as my students progress, they will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with their fellow peers as well as others within and outside of their school community.
