Lego's projects will allow my students to work on their problem solving and critical thinking skills. They will also provide a real life situation where students can build their social skills and managing their frustrations. These are skills my students struggle with daily. My classroom consists of only boys and I want to encourage them to continue building with their hands while gaining important life skills. STEAM activities will provide a positive outlet for my students to build confidence while gaining knowledge. The items will also be used as a motivation for the students to complete their traditional academic work throughout the day.
