Students learn better when instruction flows smoothly. The cube organizer will enable me to organize the teaching materials that I have bought or brought home. Math manipulatives, pens, pencils, notebooks, and other teaching material need to be organized so they are easily able to be presented to students while I am teaching. There are many wonderful virtual manipulatives that my students will be able to access at home, but some students comprehension will be improved by being able to see me move concrete objects.
I am better able to focus on what I am teaching when I am able to limit the amount of pain I experience. Virtual teaching has caused me to spend much more time sitting and students needing to see me and what I am doing leave me with little options. A standing desk will give me the ability to open the world of mathematics to my students, while allowing me to work pain-free.
I will continue to give my best to students and would appreciate any assistance with my goals this school year.
