These materials will allow my students to create and "learn by doing". We will use the colored pencils, markers and construction paper to create cities and houses while learning about parallel lines, area, and volume. We will use cards and dice to learn about probability. The pencil sharpener and hole punch will allow for my students to take accurate notes and keep an organized binder, allowing them to easily maintain records when studying for quizzes and tests.
These items will help to keep my classroom creative and fun for my students. When learning is fun, students are more likely to be engaged and relate their learning to their own lives.
