My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Our school is located in one of the nicest residential areas in the city, but my students come from some of the toughest neighborhoods in town. The majority of my students are African American, Latino, Pacific Islander, or Mixed Race. Many students at our school come from low socio-economic backgrounds and need all of the resources they can get at school! My students bring a positive attitude and a high level of curiosity everyday. They love to learn and have high expectations for themselves!
