Our school is sprinting into the digital age where teachers are turning in their worksheet-filled classrooms for paperless learning areas. In order for us to be successful with this, students need several resources for each classroom. Headphones are the missing piece for my classroom.
I am introducing a digital management system into my classroom this year and with that comes videos and recorded lessons by the teacher. My students need to be able to work at their own pace to complete each task. Headphones will allow me to successfully differentiate the lessons and pace for each of my students.
I have students that speak a multitude of languages with English and Spanish being the dominate ones. My Spanish speaking students need to be able to have the option to hear the directions and lessons in English and then again in Spanish if they need further clarification. Student success is the goal and headphones will jump start their success.
