My students come from an urban district where more than 75% of the population is on free and reduced lunch. My school is a middle/high school which means that all of the resources we're provided have to be split between both ends of the building. This often leaves us to choose what we can go without to give other students more.
I am hoping that through this project, I can fund Chromebooks for my 8th grade Reading class that will transform the way we work in the classroom because my students will always be guaranteed the benefit of the Chromebooks in class. I currently have 125 students and would like 32 Chromebooks so that I can make sure each class has enough to use during their class period with me.
