Our school is a Title I school in Sacramento. Our students are creative and love creating different forms of art but they don't always have access to the supplies needed to do so (at home or at school).
When students try new things and challenge themselves to get out of their comfort zone, they find what speaks to them and learn more about themselves and their art in the process. That is exactly what I hope to do with these materials. I want to expose students to new mediums and ways of creating art that they may not have tried on their own. All students deserve access to a well rounded education and art should be a part of that.
