My students need supplies to create and resources to practice their reading. Having our own at level library will give my classroom a more germ-controlled location. It has been extremely difficult to do crafting activities related to reading with my online students due to the monetary shortage and the family priority shifts. Having our own library space and crafting supplies will help my students have a more real connection to reading. I want them to fall in love with letters, words, and sentences. I want their motivation to grow through authentic assessments. I want them to feel safe and become the best of themselves. The majority of my students are at risk students that come from low income families; colors, watercolors, scissors, and books are simply not at the top of their priority list.
