My classroom is composed of students in grades 9-12th with moderate to severe disabilities. Most have significant cognitive disabilities in addition to other health impairments, visual and auditory impairments, and autism. In addition, many of the students come from low income households in am urban setting. A large percent of the students come from Spanish speaking households and have language barriers.
