My students are amazing young men with autism spectrum disorders. They are all 9th through 12th graders, but range in age from 14 to 22, as students with disabilities can stay within the school system until their 22nd birthday. They are an exciting, wonderful group of individuals. We work daily on functional grade level academics, communication, and skills such as vocational, daily, community, and social skills. We always presume competence and focus on trying new things to push our boundaries. We don't listen to anything we're told we "can't do." Don't dis- our ability!
