My students come to school each day carrying multiple burdens. By giving them a comfortable warm environment to spend their day I am hoping to help eliminate as many barriers to learning as possible. I work hard everyday to make sure they understand that in our classroom we are a family and it is our job to help each other succeed.
"I continue to believe that if children are given the necessary tools to succeed, they will succeed beyond their wildest dreams!" - David Vitter.
I truly believe that by giving my students the opportunity to learn in a flexible environment they will be able to grow as learners and leaders. The mohawk area rug, unique loom shag carpets, and lap desks will provide a wonderful workspace alternative to the cold tile floor for students that work best on the floor. The poly and bark trattoria stools and Sauder sofa table/console table will provide another workspace option instead of a traditional desk, and the air stability wobble cushions will be helpful for the students that have a few extra wiggles.
