I teach American Sign Language (ASL) at William Howard Taft Charter High School in Woodland Hills, CA. ASL is a World Language, students of any grade or level can take my class, so my classes are a mix of 9th-12th graders. Not only do I teach the language, but we discuss Deaf culture and how to be active participants in the Deaf community as Deaf Community Allies.
