Students will use instruments and manipulatives to CREATE, RESPOND, PERFORM, and CONNECT to Nevada music standards. Instruments are used regularly in the music classroom for optimal learning. Students have missed opportunities to use instruments live due to Covid 19. Additionally, our school has limited access to small percussion instruments which are useful to all elementary grade levels. The NACS for Fine Arts standards this project will assist in proficiency include:
MU:Cr- Conceiving and developing new artistic ideas and work.
1. Generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work.
2. Organize and develop artistic ideas and work.
3. Refine and complete artistic work; Present culminating presentation of completed work.
MU:Pr- Realizing artistic work through interpretation and presentation.
4. Select, analyze, and interpret artistic work for presentation.
5. Rehearse, Evaluate, Develop, and Refine artistic techniques and work for presentation.
6. Convey meaning through the presentation of artistic work.
