I am Audrey Meehan, a 4th year teacher in Santa Rosa, California. This year I will be teaching a 4th/5th grade combo class at a Title 1 school. This will be my first year teaching 4th graders, which I am very excited about. My class is split evenly between 4th and 5th graders, which means we will be working on independent study skills and students will have a lot of small group instruction to help them learn the content. There will also be opportunities for students to collaborate across grade levels to expose them to different ways of thinking. I am looking forward to this new challenge and working with a new group of amazing students.
