As a biology teacher, I get to teach a large portion of Patrick Henry High School students. As a graduate from this school also (Class of '03) it is exciting to work with the students of this small corner of San Diego. PHHS is one of the largest schools in the district with approximately 2500 students, many of whom are bussed in from other areas of San Diego. These students are active participants in and outside of the classroom. My hope is to use this program to provide as many unique experiences to these students that they normally would not have access to.
