My students' favorite part of our day is centers! During centers, they are able to explore and expand upon their learning through hands-on play. Through these centers, they take ownership of their own learning! In centers, my students grow through play in a variety of subject areas, such as practicing their math and pre-reading skills and exploring through art and STEM. With the tools in this project, students will be able to explore their learning and their creativity with new tools and games! LEGO bricks will provide a new tool for building, design, and exploring STEM challenges, while watercolors will provide a new method for their creative expression. Individualized ten-frames will give them a new way to practice their math skills, and letter lacing beads will help them learn letter recognition and sight words in their new language!
