Center time in Kindergarten is an important, hands on opportunity for students to practice what they've learned. My students love it and I love that it gives me the extra time to work with small groups so I can help them grasp the concepts taught. This year I have a great group of kids who come in with smiles on their faces, ready to learn! My students come from a background where many received free and reduced lunch. Formally we were titled a Title 1 school. We do everything we can to make sure every child succeeds and that makes centers and small group time greatly important to my classroom.
