With so many worries and stressors, some of our students get overwhelmed. I want to create a space for them to come and relax for a few minutes so they can face their day. They need a place to be calm and be a kid. I would like to build a room with soft lighting with lamps, some bean bag chairs and flexible seating to sit in and a diffuser for essential oils to help them relax. I also would like to put a nice rug in the room to make it feel more homey. This room will be designated for students that express a need or for students that are sent to the office for a "cool down". I want this to be a safe, quiet place for them. Help me transform this sad room into a happy place for kids!
