One teacher, one sink, and anywhere from 12 to 34 students at a time make art class clean-up very difficult. After 30 years of teaching, I have made clean-up much easier with the use of baby wipes. At the. end of class, each student is given a baby wipe to clean their hands and then clean their space with sanitizer.
3/4 of our students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch, and I do not want to add additional financial burden to families that already are struggling from the pandemic.
