I teach STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) to K-5 students. In STEAM, our focus is not on those subjects individually, but rather on how they combine to create opportunities for hands on learning which develop problem solving skills, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. These skills are vitally important for students to learn, not only to assist them in being successful academically, but also later when they enter the job market. The projects listed here focus on these skills.
