These donations will help my students build a foundation of agility and strength. My core students range from grades 2-4. At this age, my students are very active, but are still lacking agility and coordination skills. This equipment, such as agility ladders, plyo boxes, ropes, medicine balls, and hurdles, will help enhance their physical performance.
My students are excited and eager to learn more about fitness and engage in exercises that will enhance their physical performance. Their abilities in performance differ, so a wide range of equipment will help to target each student's needs and weakness.
The equipment I am requesting for my classroom will help me teach my students about how their bodies move and why it is important to enhance their capabilities. We will be working on agility, endurance and power using the ladders, hurdles, plyo boxes, med balls, and ball hops. This will benefit students who are interested or playing sports. It will also help to benefit all students in coordination and overall strength as they are learning how their bodies move and what their full capabilities are.
