My classroom is about community and even further, being a school family. My students find out from day one that they are my OWLS (Outstanding Wonderful Learning Students). This sets the tone for the school year and they all truly grow to care about one another and think about how they treat each other. It is a classroom of positive reinforcement. They love working together on group projects, partner projects, STEM and any other hands on activities.
